UText/2

The Universaltext Engine

This program will be the successor of UText/1. It is being designed gradually since February 2010.

UText v. 2 is a text engine. As UText v. 1 it reads text files with UTL (Universaltext Language) format and provides services to navigate, query and transform the parsed text. It is being designed to be simpler and more general than its predecessor. UText/1 was a hands-on project to get the job done, UText/2 is pure experimental, it is an implementation of the text theory to proof it and develop it further.

The program will be written in C and licensed under the GNU General Public License.
